Eazitutor was created to bridge this gap. The platform connects students with qualified tutors, making it easier for families to access personalized academic support while giving tutors an opportunity to share their knowledge and earn income.

Eazitutor may collect different types of personal information in order to operate the platform effectively.
Personal Identification Information
Account & Profile Information
Identity Verification Information — Identity documents, academic certificates, and teaching credentials collected solely for confirming tutor qualifications.
Payment Information — Transaction records and billing information processed through secure payment processors.
Platform Usage Data — Session booking history, tutor ratings, communication logs, and login activity used to improve platform performance.
Eazitutor does not sell or rent user personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
Eazitutor takes reasonable measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure including secure data storage, restricted access to sensitive information, encryption of certain data transmissions, and monitoring systems to detect suspicious activity.
Eazitutor retains personal information only for as long as necessary to operate the platform and fulfill legitimate business purposes including maintaining accounts, processing transactions, resolving disputes, and complying with legal requirements. When personal data is no longer required, it may be securely deleted or anonymized.
Certain information may be shared in limited circumstances: with payment processors to complete transactions securely, with trusted service providers supporting platform operations, or when required by law to comply with legal obligations or protect user safety.
Because many learners on the platform may be minors, Eazitutor takes special care when handling their information. Personal information relating to minors will be handled with heightened sensitivity and used solely for the purpose of supporting educational services.
Users may request to access their personal information, correct inaccurate information, update their profile details, or request deletion of certain information. Requests may be submitted through platform support channels.
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Continued use of the platform after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms constitute the legally binding agreement governing the use of the Eazitutor platform. By creating an account or participating in tutoring sessions, users agree to comply with these Terms and all associated platform policies.
Eazitutor operates as an online marketplace connecting learners with tutors aligned to the Zambian national curriculum. The platform provides digital infrastructure enabling tutor discovery, session booking and scheduling, secure payment processing, ratings and feedback systems, and dispute resolution mechanisms.
Eazitutor does not directly provide tutoring services. Tutors operate as independent contractors, and learners engage tutors through the platform.
By registering an account or using the Eazitutor platform, users confirm that they have read and understood these Terms, agree to comply with all platform policies, and accept responsibility for their conduct on the platform. Users who do not agree to these terms must not use the platform.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials, ensuring that account information is accurate, and reporting any unauthorized account activity. Eazitutor reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information or violate platform policies.
Tutors using the Eazitutor platform operate as independent contractors and are not employees of Eazitutor. Tutors determine their own schedules, are responsible for their own taxes, and Eazitutor does not control how tutors deliver sessions.
All tutoring sessions arranged through Eazitutor must be paid through the platform's payment system. The payment process follows this structure:
All tutoring interactions should occur through the Eazitutor platform. To protect platform integrity, users may not share personal phone numbers, exchange personal contact details such as WhatsApp or email, arrange tutoring sessions outside the platform, or arrange payments outside the platform.
Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or permanent removal from the platform.
Eazitutor provides the platform on an "as available" basis and does not guarantee specific academic outcomes, continuous platform availability, or compatibility with all devices. Tutoring services are delivered by independent tutors and Eazitutor is not responsible for specific instructional methods used.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with applicable Zambian law.
Eazitutor is committed to creating a safe and respectful online learning environment where children and young learners can receive academic support without exposure to inappropriate behaviour, exploitation, or harm.
For the purposes of this policy, a minor is defined as any learner under the age of eighteen. Special protections apply to minors to ensure their safety and well-being during all tutoring interactions.
Parents or legal guardians must create and manage accounts for learners under their care, monitor their child's use of the platform, ensure the learner participates in sessions appropriately, and report any concerns regarding tutor behaviour immediately.
The following behaviours are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform:
Eazitutor encourages all users to report safeguarding concerns immediately. Reports may be made by learners, parents or guardians, tutors, or other platform users through the platform's reporting system or customer support channels.
Examples of reportable concerns include inappropriate tutor behaviour, harassment or intimidation, requests for personal contact information, and suspicious or uncomfortable interactions.
When a safeguarding concern is reported, Eazitutor will conduct a prompt review including communication records, session logs, and tutor account history. If confirmed, disciplinary actions may include formal warnings, temporary suspension, permanent removal, or reporting to appropriate authorities when necessary.
Eazitutor treats all safeguarding reports seriously and prioritizes learner safety above all other considerations. All safeguarding reports are handled with strict confidentiality.
This policy outlines the procedures through which disagreements between learners and tutors are addressed on the Eazitutor platform in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner.
Disputes must be submitted within 24 hours after the scheduled session time. After this period, the session is considered completed and payment may be released. Late submissions may not be eligible for review unless exceptional circumstances apply.
Tutor Absence — If the tutor did not attend the scheduled session. If confirmed absent, the learner may be eligible for a full refund or session credit.
Learner Absence — If the learner fails to join within the grace period, the session fee may still be released to the tutor.
Session Quality Concerns — Tutor failing to explain concepts, being unprepared, ending early, or behaving unprofessionally.
Technical Issues — Internet connectivity problems, platform disruptions, or power outages that significantly disrupted the session.
Policy Violations — Inappropriate behaviour, harassment, requests for off-platform payments, or academic dishonesty.
During the dispute investigation, payment associated with the session remains in escrow. Once a final decision is made, funds are distributed according to the resolution outcome.
Eazitutor maintains neutrality when resolving disputes. The platform does not automatically favour either tutors or learners. Decisions are based on evidence provided, platform policies, and session records.
The dispute system must not be used dishonestly. Submitting false claims, repeatedly disputing valid sessions, or harassing tutors through the dispute process may result in restrictions or suspension.
This policy establishes the standards, expectations, and governance framework for all tutors who provide educational services through the Eazitutor platform. Tutors operate as independent contractors, not employees of Eazitutor.
Eazitutor is not restricted only to formally certified teachers. Individuals eligible to apply as tutors may include:
While formal teaching certification is not mandatory, applicants must demonstrate sufficient subject knowledge and the ability to communicate and explain academic concepts clearly.
Community Tutors — Registered tutors who have not yet completed formal credential verification. May include university students, recent graduates, and subject enthusiasts. Can conduct sessions and build reputation through learner feedback.
Expert Tutors — Tutors who have demonstrated consistent performance, high learner ratings, reliable session completion, and strong subject mastery. Status granted after completing a defined number of successful sessions.
Verified Tutors — Tutors whose identity and academic qualifications have been formally reviewed and confirmed. Receive a verification badge that increases visibility and credibility. Verification is not required to begin tutoring.
Violation of any of the following rules may result in warning, suspension, reduced platform visibility, or permanent removal.
Tutors receive 80% of the session fee after the platform deducts its 20% commission. Payments are released from escrow after session completion and the 24-hour dispute window. Tutors may request payouts through the platform's withdrawal system via Airtel Money or MTN Mobile Money.
Eazitutor monitors tutor performance using learner ratings, session completion rates, response time to booking requests, and cancellation frequency. Tutors who consistently fail to meet minimum performance standards may receive warnings, reduced platform visibility, or account suspension.
This policy establishes the rules, expectations, and responsibilities governing the participation of learners and parents on the Eazitutor platform. The success of the platform depends on respectful cooperation between learners, parents, and tutors.
Learners using the Eazitutor platform may include individuals seeking academic support across various levels of the Zambian national curriculum:
For learners under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must supervise the learner's participation and is responsible for the learner's conduct and compliance with platform policies.
Attend on Time — Log in to scheduled sessions promptly. Late arrival may reduce the effective duration and may be treated as a no-show depending on circumstances.
Maintain Respectful Communication — Listen attentively, allow tutors to explain concepts fully, and ask questions politely. Disrespectful or abusive behaviour toward tutors will not be tolerated.
Participate Actively — Ask questions, attempt practice problems, engage with lesson material, and review feedback provided by tutors. The effectiveness of tutoring depends significantly on learner participation.
Maintain Appropriate Conduct — Avoid disruptive behaviour, offensive language, and remain focused on academic work throughout sessions.
Before confirming a booking, learners or parents should review the tutor's subject expertise, availability, pricing, and ratings. Once confirmed, learners are expected to attend unless cancelled according to the cancellation policy.
All tutoring sessions must be paid for through the Eazitutor platform using approved payment methods. Payments are held in escrow until the session is completed.
Attempting to bypass the platform payment system or arrange off-platform payments may result in account suspension.
Learners may choose from single sessions, session bundles, monthly learning plans, or term-based tutoring plans. Learners should select the plan that best fits their academic goals and make reasonable efforts to use purchased sessions before expiration where applicable.
Sessions cancelled outside the permitted time window may not be eligible for full refunds. Learners should cancel as early as possible if unable to attend. Repeated cancellations or no-shows may negatively impact the learner's ability to continue using the platform.
After completing a session, learners are encouraged to provide honest feedback on teaching effectiveness, clarity of explanations, professionalism, and overall learning experience. Honest feedback helps maintain platform quality. Learners should avoid submitting misleading or abusive reviews.
Learners who violate platform policies may face warnings, temporary suspension, restriction of booking privileges, or permanent account removal.
If learners experience issues during a tutoring session, they may report the matter to Eazitutor within 24 hours. Reportable issues include tutor absence, inappropriate tutor behaviour, and failure to conduct the session as agreed. Eazitutor will review disputes and determine appropriate resolutions.
